As one of Yorkshire’s fastest growing PR, communications and marketing agencies, we have been appointed to support the work of an organisation which aims to boost enterprise across West Yorkshire.
We will work with the West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency to promote their work supporting businesses across the county, including those who are starting up with the support of the New Enterprise Allowance (NEA).
The organisation is the enterprise arm of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and has been supporting local businesses for over 25 years. It works to deliver the NEA throughout Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield with those placed on the scheme by Jobcentre Plus.
We will promote this work, highlighting case studies of those who have started companies through the process and developing the organisation’s online and social media presence. As well as organising events to showcase their work.
As part of the NEA, jobseekers receive mentoring with an experienced business person to help them through the process. We will also work with the Enterprise Agency team to communicate with existing mentors and aim to help the recruitment of more to the MYMentor network.
Stefanie Hopkins, owner and director of Faith PR, said:
“We are delighted to have been appointed by the West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency to support their work promoting entrepreneurship across the county and the success stories achieved here in Yorkshire and nationwide.
“Having set up Faith PR, I know the challenges faced by those starting a business and understand the struggles involved. This will help us communicate the hard work by both those jobseekers starting up in business and the mentors who support them.
“We look forward to helping the Enterprise Agency raise awareness of their work and their MYMentor network in the coming months.”
Andrew Choi, Head of Operations at the West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency, added:
“We are proud of the work of the West Yorkshire Enterprise Agency supporting businesses across the county, particularly those starting their enterprise journey by beginning their new companies.
“Faith PR itself is a growing West Yorkshire business and we were impressed by their commitment to promoting enterprise and business. We are excited by the prospect of working closely with them to communicate our success stories to a wider audience and also help us find new mentors to provide the assistance to these entrepreneurs of the future.”
