Tom is a Politics and Modern History graduate whose first role in the media industry was as a sports journalist for market-leading rugby league trade publications League Express and Rugby League World, which he combined with producing copy and audio news bulletins for leading bookmaking brands including bet365, Ladbrokes and William Hill.

Tom also provided PR and Communications services for a range of clients from inside and outside of sport, and was a regular guest contributor to Sky Sports News Radio, before joining the PR & Communications team for Rugby League World Cup 2013.

RLWC2013 broke numerous records in terms of attendances and overall income, including a world record crowd for the final, which led to Tom taking a job after the tournament in one of its host towns, as a Communications Officer for Rochdale Borough Council.

During his time with RBC, Tom was responsible for planning and implementing communications and marketing campaigns in areas including crime prevention, community cohesion and health & wellbeing.

An opportunity to work closer to home and test his skills in an agency environment led Tom to join Leeds-based experiential marketing specialists Banana Kick, where he worked across a range of accounts, including Provident, Aston Manor and Asda, as a traditional marketing account handler and PR, communications and digital specialist.

Tom joined Faith in January 2017 and balances his role as a Senior Account Manager with interests including playing rugby league and football and volunteering with his local rugby league club as match day announcer.
