At Faith PR, corporate social responsibility and having a positive impact in the community is something we take to heart and we try to ‘give something back’ wherever we can. Below is a snapshot of some of our recent CSR initiatives.

Since 2013, Faith PR and its sister business marketing consultancy kloog, have been members of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice 99ers fundraising initiative. Donating 99p a day to help the Bradley-based Children’s Hospice, we decided to join the scheme after hearing about it at the Kirklees Business Conference.

Managing director of kloog, and commercial director of Faith PR, Carl said: “We’re proud to be a Forget Me Not 99er. The Hospice does an amazing job, giving vital support to local children with life-limiting conditions and their families.” As well as our 99er contributions we support Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice with additional donations and events throughout the year.

Our founder and managing director, Stef, sits on the committee of the Kirklees and Calderdale Annual Christmas Lunch (KACCL), which held its inaugural event in December last year. The lunch on December 15, sponsored by Huddersfield accountants Crowther, was held at Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top and was attended by 240 people from the local business community.

The inaugural charity lunch was a huge success and raised a massive £18,000 for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice – a figure the committee now hope to smash with this year’s event!

We are delighted to support our local junior football club, Brighouse Juniors and their under 8s team, through kit sponsorship. For two seasons now we have invested in a brand new kit for the A team which sees our logo being sported on the team’s match kit. Our sponsorship of the Brighouse Juniors under 8s team allows us to actively support the local community, and play a small part in ensuring the club continues to thrive.

The FA charter standard junior Under8s team is managed by Danny Rahnavard, who says: “As a registered charity Brighouse Juniors has a long history of being at the heart of the community and embraces the support it receives from the local community and local businesses. Such support, like we are receiving from Faith PR, has enabled us to grow year on year to now become the biggest club in the district with over 300 playing members and a large number of volunteers”.

Our team regularly get involved in fundraising events for a number of different charities. We have hosted several of these in our offices by inviting our neighbouring businesses to join in, supporting charities such as Breast Cancer Now and Children In Need.
